We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Premier Manufacturing Co. in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will oversee daily production operations, ensure quality standards are met, and lead a team of skilled workers to achieve operational excellence. Your leadership will be key in driving efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement in our manufacturing facility.
Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Monitor production processes and quality control to ensure products meet specifications.
- Lead and mentor a team of production associates, providing training and performance feedback.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance.
- Prepare production reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure material availability for production runs.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase productivity.
Qualification
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
