Responsibility
- Operational Oversight: Direct daily production schedules, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, coach, and mentor staff to foster a high-performance culture and reduce turnover.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current workflows and implement Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to optimize output.
- Resource Management: Manage inventory levels, equipment maintenance schedules, and budget allocation for the department.
- Reporting: Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and actionable insights.
Qualification
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel.
- Certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt or similar process improvement certification is a strong plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of resolving operational bottlenecks.
