Responsibility
- Masterfully craft espresso-based beverages, pour-overs, and specialty drinks using La Marzocco equipment with precision and consistency.
- Engage with guests to deliver an unparalleled, warm, and personalized coffee experience that drives loyalty and community.
- Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment and tools are properly cared for and calibrated.
- Educate customers on our rotating selection of single-origin beans, flavor profiles, and brewing techniques to enhance their appreciation.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and rotating stock to optimize freshness and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the roasting team on batch profiling and seasonal drink development.
- Mentor junior baristas on best practices, latte art, and speed of service standards.
Qualification
- 2+ years of professional barista experience in a high-volume specialty coffee environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in advanced latte art (capable of consistently pouring rosettas and tulips).
- SCA Barista Skills Intermediate or Professional Certification is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills and a genuine love for connecting with people.
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule that includes early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
