Responsibility
- Develop and execute seasonal menus that highlight local, sustainable ingredients.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve performance goals.
- Manage inventory, control food costs, and collaborate with suppliers to procure high-quality products.
- Work closely with front-of-house to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Continuously innovate and refine recipes to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume culinary environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and menu design.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse kitchen team and foster a collaborative culture.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in food safety (e.g., ServSafe) or equivalent.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.
