Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso drinks, cold brews, and pastries according to strict recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain a pristine work environment, including the coffee bar, dining area, and restrooms, adhering to strict health and safety regulations.
- Operate and clean coffee equipment (grinders, espresso machines, blenders) daily to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies and performing weekly inventory counts.
- Train new hires on our brewing techniques and customer service protocols.
- Participate in daily shift briefings and team meetings to discuss performance goals.
Qualification
- Minimum of 1 year of professional barista experience in a high-volume coffee shop or specialty cafe.
- Proficiency in latte art, pour-over techniques, and espresso extraction.
- Strong knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and politely.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
