Responsibility
- Provide exceptional, personalized table service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued.
- Master and recite daily menu specials, wine pairings, and ingredient sourcing details with confidence.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders using the POS system (Toast), ensuring special requests are meticulously noted.
- Maintain a pristine dining room and station setup, adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen and sommelier teams to orchestrate perfect service flow.
- Anticipate guest needs, proactively addressing any questions or concerns with grace and efficiency.
- Process payments accurately, manage guest checks, and handle cash/card transactions.
Qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a fine-dining or upscale casual environment.
- Extensive knowledge of fine wines, spirits, and cocktail preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A valid Food Handler's Certificate (e.g., NYC Food Protection Certificate) is required.
