Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests warmly, present menus, and share daily specials and promotions.
- Take precise food and beverage orders using the POS system, accommodating dietary needs.
- Deliver drinks and meals efficiently while ensuring correct presentation and temperature.
- Regularly check in with guests to confirm satisfaction and proactively resolve any issues.
- Process all payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized station, including setting and resetting tables.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service timing.
- Suggest additional items such as appetizers, desserts, and premium beverages to enhance the guest experience.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or culinary certification a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of waitstaff experience in a high-volume, upscale environment.
- Exceptional verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math proficiency for handling payments and tips.
- Current food safety and alcohol service certifications (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
