Responsibility
- Direct and coordinate all hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and concierge services to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Develop and execute sales, marketing, and revenue‑management strategies to maximize occupancy, average daily rate, and profitability.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, promoting professional development, performance coaching, and a positive workplace culture.
- Monitor budget adherence, control operating expenses, and prepare financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with guests, corporate clients, vendors, and local partners to enhance brand reputation and generate repeat business.
- Lead initiatives to improve guest satisfaction scores, handle escalated complaints, and implement continuous service enhancements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set strategic goals, launch new services, and support marketing campaigns.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive hotel management experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, develop budgets, and drive revenue growth in a full‑service resort or hotel environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the capability to motivate diverse teams.
- Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Opera, Micros) and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data‑driven decision making.
- In‑depth knowledge of hospitality industry standards, safety regulations, and local licensing requirements.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business demands.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese) are advantageous.
