Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a wide range of specialty coffee and espresso drinks with precision and consistency
- Develop deep knowledge of sourcing, roasting profiles, and brewing techniques to educate customers
- Deliver outstanding service, building rapport and loyalty with regular clientele
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and equipment maintenance to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain rigorous cleanliness standards in all workspaces and public areas
- Process cash, card, and mobile payments accurately while handling transactions efficiently
- Participate in ongoing training, seasonal menu development, and quality audits
- Collaborate with the team to uphold a welcoming, high-energy café atmosphere
Qualification
- 2+ years of barista experience in a specialty coffee setting (required)
- Certified Barista or completion of formal coffee training (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with grace under pressure
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Current Food Handler’s Permit or ability to acquire one upon hire
- Passion for continuous learning and sharing coffee knowledge with guests
