Responsibility
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to all guests throughout their dining experience
- Present menus and offer detailed descriptions of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings
- Accurately take and relay orders to kitchen staff, ensuring special dietary requirements are properly noted
- Maintain clean and organized tables, stations, and dining areas to uphold restaurant standards
- Process payments and manage cash register operations with attention to accuracy
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service and timely food delivery
- Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary
- Participate in daily briefings, training sessions, and team meetings to maintain service excellence
Qualification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a full-service restaurant
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine fundamentals
- Excellent verbal communication skills and professional appearance
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic math skills for processing payments and making change
